UNEA Nairobi 2019 – Ethical Fashion Charter Launch

Text: During the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) in Nairobi, we organized a key session on March 14, 2019, focused on the future of sustainable fashion. As part of the event, a mini fashion show was held, with Heron Preston presenting the sustainable designs of various designers, explaining their innovation and environmental impact. Additionally, the Future Fabrics Expo showcased cutting-edge, eco-friendly materials, illustrating the potential of sustainable fashion.

A photo and video booth was set up to gather statements from attendees on the future of fashion, furthering the dialogue on ethical and sustainable practices. The event concluded with the official launch of the Ethical Fashion Charter, a milestone for the global fashion industry.
